April's Fool

 

I am a fool

for the rain

for grey, cloudy skies

and wind blowing

 

Give me a book and a chair

and a cup of something warm

a cat or a dog to sit with me

and I can’t think of a more pleasant way

to spend an afternoon.

 

Give me a rainy day.

give me a storm.

give me a book.

That’s all I ask.
