Darkness

Eclipse – day becomes night

nature goes silent

people stand in

 wonder

this darkness

We are reminded

Your clarity

is my haze

your map

my maze

and my ashes

ignite your blaze

The writing prompt from dVerse is a quadrille.  Today, your 44 word poem must contain the word “blaze” or a derivative.
